Coinbase’s Canadian launch presented a unique challenge: how could we build trust and credibility in a skeptical market?

While competitors chased short-term gains with hype, we spotted a powerful opportunity to stand out by positioning Coinbase as the trusted leader Canadians were missing.

Our campaign launched at Toronto’s Blockchain Futurist Conference, placing Coinbase at the heart of Canada's crypto conversation. We showcased Coinbase’s commitment to regulatory compliance, integrated trusted partners like Interac, and spearheaded thought leadership initiatives that clearly demonstrated Coinbase’s transparent approach to crypto.

We further amplified Coinbase's credibility through strategic media outreach, including securing an op-ed that landed in the Prime Minister's briefing book, and our standout "Crypto Conversations" event series in collaboration with Shopify, bringing together industry heavyweights and influential voices.

By highlighting Coinbase’s willingness to collaborate and lead responsibly, we helped transform perceptions, securing Coinbase’s status as Canada’s first internationally registered crypto exchange and establishing the brand as a credible voice in Canada's financial future.
