Think Week 2025: Where the Best Work Starts With Thinking
At Agnostic, we believe the magic happens when we stop doing and start thinking. Think Week isn’t a break from our work, it’s a reminder of how we do our best work.
When we step away from deadlines, deliverables, and inboxes, something shifts. Ideas start to stretch. Conversations deepen. Curiosity sparks again. That’s the space where transformation begins, and where our core principles come to life.
We are relentlessly transforming and defying expectations.
When you swap your laptop for an axe, like we did to kick-off Think Week, it’s impossible not to see things differently. The moments spent together axe throwing were filled with laughter, competition, and cheering one another on. It reminded us that transformation doesn’t happen in the comfort of the familiar; it happens when we dare ourselves (and one another) to be great.
Stepping out of our routines gives us permission to think freely. It’s how we uncover new approaches and unexpected insights that fuel the next big idea.
We are defined by our obsession with the new and the next.
The Influencer Panel pushed us to rethink what authenticity means in an era of algorithms and AI. We heard from Sarah Francis, VP Of Partnerships at Platform Media, lifestyle influencer Victoria Hui and finance influencer Christina Mychaskiw to hear their valuable perspectives. But more than that, it challenged us to stay curious, constantly ask what’s next and how we can bring that thinking into every brief, pitch, and client conversation.
Innovation doesn’t fall into your lap, it often starts with a single question that refuses to leave you alone and develops into greatness through curiosity and collaboration.
We make it safe to take risks - never allowing ourselves to get too comfortable.
Our team scavenger hunt did more than get us moving through the city, it got us out of our heads. By exploring our surroundings through the lenses of community, creativity, storytelling, and experience, we discovered how much inspiration lives right outside our office doors.
We’re better at our jobs when we’re uncomfortable, when we’re exploring instead of executing. That tension between curiosity and courage is where growth happens.
We are in service to the work.
Vice President of Strategy, Amit Shilton, hosted a storytelling workshop that was a reminder that great ideas don’t matter if they’re not told well. The best stories aren’t just crafted, they're shaped by the people, moments, and experiences that inspire them.
When we take the time to think (really think!), we elevate our storytelling. We connect ideas to impact, ultimately making the work matter.
Reflection fuels direction.
Think Week isn’t about time off, it’s about time in. Time in reflection, in curiosity, in collaboration. It’s where inspiration meets intention, and where the foundation for our next chapter begins.
We left the week with full notebooks, new connections, and fresh ideas, but most importantly, a shared understanding that thinking is the work.
Think Week 2025 reminded us that progress doesn’t happen when we’re busiest, but rather when we allow ourselves the space to think. And that’s exactly what we will keep moving forward: an obsession with the new, the next, and the never-done-before.
